Teens & Leadership

June 27 – July 11 (Training Phase)

Our Leaders in Training program is for teens ages 16 to 18 (or students going into Grade 11 or 12) who are interested in learning to become extraordinary servant leaders who will be people of influence at camp and in their home, school or church communities. This is an exciting month-long program providing both spiritual and practical training. Our Bible studies and character-building activities help teens deepen their faith and explore their questions about God. Two weeks of intense training (including a 3-day out-trip) is followed by two weeks of real-time experience, you will be on the path to solid servant leadership. This program is designed to help you along your way to solid servant leadership.

Please be aware that there is an approval process for this camp which includes an interview and reference checks. Applications will be processed and interviews scheduled starting February 3, 2025. After this date, applications will be processed until capacity is reached. It is not necessary to have been a camper previously at Pioneer Pacific Camp in order to apply to be an LIT.

July 13-18
$579 + GST

This life-on-life program is specially designed for youth ages 12–14. The Jr. Leader program is designed to mentor young teenagers in the areas of leadership and responsibility. It is also structured to deepen their understanding of Jesus’ teachings and create a safe place for them to practice serving others. They will take on an apprenticeship role as a Jr. Cabin Leader, where they will be paired with two experienced leaders and given roles that challenge them appropriately.

Please submit your applications online to begin the approval process which will include an interview and reference checks. Once we have received your application, someone from our office will be in contact with you. It is not necessary to have been a camper previously at Pioneer Pacific Camp in order to apply to be a Junior Leader.

June 29 – July 18 // July 27 – August 15

Come join this three-week “sweat & study” program for youth entering grade 9 – 11 and discover for yourself what living and serving in Christian community is all about. PYC is a place where the beliefs of the Christian faith are explored. Camp chores, work projects, relevant Bible studies, activities, an out-trip, and leadership opportunities are all part of this exciting program that will start you on the journey of leadership through service.
