FAMILY WORK WEEK
Ages: All Ages
Cost: $20/day/person
More Information:
This work camp is open to all ages. Families will work alongside our camp staff to do a sitewide spring clean. Yo will get to know staff and other families who are also committed to the ongoing care of the Pioneer Pacific Site.
The majority of the tasks for the week will be outdoors, focusing on landscaping and clean-up of the site after winter. Please let us know if you have specific skills (ie: licensed Carpenter) in your application. If the weather is poor, our focus will turn to indoor spring-cleaning tasks. The day will be structured to include community building times at each of the three meals, with a work period after breakfast and again after lunch, totalling approximately 6 hours of work each day.
The family work week happens alongside our Spring Sailing Camp and families will be invited to participate in portions of the programming of Sailing Camp, such as the evening chapel. If you are planning to bring young children, we welcome them to join in on the work party as they are able. We understand that caregivers may need to step away from their tasks to care for their children at times.
ALL MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN
